Cure 4 Keith

Keith Hayes Cancer Fund

Twenty-five year old Keith Hayes resides in Lubbock, Texas and is in a fight for his life. In March 2010, Keith was diagnosed with non-Hodgkins lymphoma, a cancer that attacks lymph glands throughout the body. After six chemotherapy treatments, he hoped to be in full remission.  However, the T-cell lymphoma in his body aggressively returned. Keith’s doctor advised the only hope for complete cure is to pursue a bone marrow stem cell transplant. If all goes as planned, the process will be complete by the end of 2010.

Keith’s cancer struck while he was between college and embarking on his career as a mathematician. Unfortunately, as a young newlywed, he is uninsured. Costs for his cancer treatment could reach nearly $400,000, and a large deposit is required by the hospital before the stem cell transplant process can begin. No donation is too small as medical bills have and will continue to mount. An account that will be used only for medical bills has been established at American State Bank in Lubbock, Texas.

Donations can be made by visiting any American State Bank in communities across the state of Texas or by sending them to:
